Nursing Pillows

The Best Nursing Pillows

A nursing pillow is so essential and here is why. It makes feeding ten times more comfortable, making the 500 feedings a day so much more manageable. Personally, I bottle fed my first baby and breastfed my second and a nursing pillow was overused in both cases, to say the least. To get to the point, comfort. That is all! And we all love that c word, especially running off of -3 hours of sleep. Most nursing pillows are also versatile and can be used for tummy time, propping baby up, and helping baby learn to sit upright.

Let’s jump into some of the best nursing pillows:

Based on real reviews, here are some of the said pros and cons

Pros: Versatile, Helps with Baby’s Development, Quality

Cons: No Back Support, Too Soft

Personal Review: I used a Boppy Pillow with both of my children and I really love it. As mentioned it is very versatile and not only was used to bottle and breastfeed but to help my kids learn to sit on their own. It does take a lot of pressure off of your body and gives baby a place to lay comfortably and feed. The quality is great. It never got flat and the covers do good with a washing machine. I never put the actual pillow in the wash to judge how well it will do. The complaint I have against the Boppy pillow is that it isn’t very thick so I would still put a pillow underneath and create my own back support with even more pillows. Overall I would recommend it.
